Wolvden's explore map is packed full of hundreds of encounters, adding depth and excitement to the mechanic. Explore encounters allow you to interact with the world to gain rewards, suffer consequences, or immerse yourself in the game.

While many explore encounters can be found wherever you go, all 12 biomes available to explore contain exclusive encounters that may only be found while exploring one biomes or a few biomes specifically. This page lists all explore encounters together. However, if you would like to view explore encounters which are exclusive to certain biomes, feel free to check out the links below! These designated biome pages contain encounters which are exclusive to the labeled biome, as well as encounters which can be found in the listed biome alongside only a few others (but not all biomes).

Sound of Birds
You hear the faint twitter of birds somewhere nearby. You look up to the sky and watch them swooping overhead. What would it feel like to fly? You find a nice comfortable spot in the shade and rest for a moment.
Sleep	The sound is so soothing. You flop down and take a short nap.	+5% - 10% energy
Rest	You decide to take advantage of this sound and settle down to rest, pondering your thoughts, and perhaps licking a few wounds.	+4 - 5 HP

Small Butterfly
Catching your breath, a small butterfly lands on your nose.
Watch	You watch as it pauses briefly, its pretty wings down flat, before fluttering away.	No reward
Chomp	Bugs are tasty.	+1% Hunger

Small Critters
You see some small critters running desperately in the opposite direction.
Keep Moving Forward	No result text	Automatic battle encounter with a wolf five levels stronger than you
Turn Back	You take the hint and turn back, running after the critters. Well, while you're here, might as well try to snatch a meal.	+1 random Single-Use Food Item
