The Trading Center is the primary hub for players to exchange wolves, items, and currency! All trades posted in the Trading Center were created by another player, and you can post your own trades here as well!

You can visit the Trading Center from the Crossroads page.

The main Trading Center page shows a list of all trades currently listed in the Trading Center, sorted by most recent! The trades on the front page have either been listed recently or bumped recently.

On this main page, you can sort all trades in the Trading Center by a few factors using the headers at the top of the trade list: recency, number of wolves in the trade, number of items in the trade, amount of Silver Cones in the trade, amount of Gold Cones in the trade, and buyout price. Click on one of these headers with the two arrows next to it to sort the trade list.

Clicking on any trade's title will bring you to more information about the trade, and a place where you can offer on the trade or buy it out for its buyout price! A trade's buyout price is the currency value you can spend to instantly get the assets offered in the trade, without any need for approval by the trade's owner.

At the top of the trade's page, you'll find images of any wolves or items offered in the trade. If a wolf has nursing pups who are younger than 3 months, their pups will appear next to their image in this section.

The Wanted section of a trade details what the owner is hoping to get in return for what they are offering. You can write anything in this section of your trade, so you can go into detail on what you would like people to offer! This section can also be left blank if the trade owner does not want to specify offers, or if the trade is instead buyout-only.

The Buyout Options section specifies how much currency you can spend to immediately win the trade. Buying out a trade overrides any offers that have been made on the trade. If you have offered on a trade and someone else buys it out, your offer will be returned to your Hoard.

If you would like to offer on a trade, you can do so underneath the trade's information! You can only offer on trades which have offers open. If a trade is buyout-only, you will be unable to leave an offer. You can select any item in your Hoard, any amount of currency you currently have un-buried, and any wolf currently eligible for trade. Making an offer on a trade removes the assets from your account. However, if your offer is rejected, a different offer is accepted, the trade is canceled, or the trade is bought out, your full offer will be returned to your account as if you didn't make it in the first place.

You can view all offers currently made on a trade underneath the trade's information. If you are the owner of the trade, you can choose to reject or accept offers from here.

Search Trades

Search Trades

On the Search Trades page, you can get more specific views of certain types of trades, and even search for certain items or wolf traits you're looking for! Once on the Search Trades page, you can further narrow your trade list to trades containing wolves, trades containing items, and trades containing currency. You may also start your trade search here using names and keywords, the trade owner's ID, buyout prices, and the asset the trade contains. Once you've input the search filters you would like to use, simply press Apply Filters to narrow the trade list down to only trades matching your filters.

On the Wolves tab of the Search Trades page, you can search for wolves with specific traits. These could include sex, age, level, genetics, stats, and more! The list of trades on the Wolves tab will all include at least one wolf.

On the Items tab of the Search Trades page, you can filter trades based on the exact item the trade contains. Typing in the search box will pull up all items with the matching word, and you can select multiple items to search for at once.

If you know that you want a specific category of item, but you're not sure about specifics yet, you can filter the item search by image type! Instead of typing an item's name, you can input "Type: ___" to pull up all items of a specific category. For example, typing "Type: Herb" will pull up all items in the category Herb. Typing "Type: Food" will pull up all items in the category Food. Once you have filtered by a category, you can select specific items from the new list.

The categories you can use this filtered search with are the same categories as in the Item Catalogue: Amusement, Applicator, Background, Breeding, Bundle, Custom Decoration, Decoration, Food, Healing, Herb, Lore, Other, Recipe, and Special Use.

On the Currency tab of the Search Trades page, you can find trades containing primarily currency. Players will use this page of the Trading Center to exchange Silver Cover for Gold Cones and vice versa. To purchase GC using SC, add a number to the "GC in Trade" filter, and then sort the list using the "Buyout" column to find the cheapest GC available.

Watched Trades

Watched Trades

If you want to keep up with a trade posted by another player, you can choose to "Watch" it! The option to do this is right above any trade. Here, you can also see how many other players are watching the chosen trade! There is no way to view the specific players watching a trade, only the number of players watching it.

Watching a trade will add the trade to a list on your Watched Trades page. You will also be notified when the trade is bought out, when an offer is accepted, or if a trade is canceled.

Create a Trade

Create a Trade

It's easy to start selling your own wolves and items in the Trading Center! The Create a Trade page is your starting point!

In the Trade Details section, you will input a Trade Name, and then choose where the trade will go! If you want the trade to be viewable by all players, you should select the Public option. If you would like to send the trade to a specific user instead, you can choose Private or Gift, and then input the other person's ID! A private trade is visible to just you and the player you send it to, and the other player will be notified when you send a private trade to then. No one can buyout or offer on the trade besides the person you sent it to. A gift is also sent to just one specific player, and it's a free transfer of items. The other player can claim the gift without the need to offer anything or spend any currency. When you send a gift to another player, they will receive a notification. Gifts expire after three days if the other player does not claim the gift.

Under the Trade Contents section, you can select everything you want to offer in the trade. You could offer wolves, items, and currency! Keep in mind that wolves can only be added to trades if they do not have a role and are not secured. Puppies under the age of 2.5 months cannot be added to trades without their mother. Items and currency can only be added to trades if they are not in the "Buried" section of your Hoard.

In the Buyout Options section, you can specify what you would like in exchange for the assets you are offering. You can specify a buyout price, choose whether or not you'd like to make the trade buyout-only, and explain what you would like in return for trades with offers open.

Once you've gotten everything filled out, simply click the Create Trade button to publish your trade! Keep in mind that trade automatically expire after 30 days, so be sure to accept an offer before then to avoid this from happening!

After you've created a trade, the next step is advertising it! While other players might find the trade by simply searching in the Trading Center, you might be able to find an interested buyer quicker using a few strategies.

Every 10 minutes, you can Bump your trade to push it back to the top of the "Recent Trades" list. This can be done on your trade's page! You can only bump trades that you have created yourself, and there's no cooldown between trades, meaning you can bump multiple trades in a row. You must wait 10 minutes before bumping the same trade again.

You can advertise trades in Wolvden's live chat or forums. In the live chat, trade links can be sent in the Sales channel. There is a 10-minute cooldown timer in between posts.

If you have multiple trades, you don't have to send every link separately! Instead, you could send a link to a trade search filter displaying only your trades. On the Search Trades page, input your player ID in the Owner ID section and then click Apply Filters. Then, you can copy the URL of the page to use as a link to display your trades for other players!

In the forums, there are multiple places you could advertise your trades based on what you are selling. The Items board can be used to advertise item trades, the Wolves board could be used to advertise wolf trades. Check out the forums using the Chatter link at the top of any Wolvden page!

Manage Your Trades

Manage Your Trades

You can manage trades you have created from the Manage Your Trades tab of the Trading Center. This page shows a list of all trades you have created, sorted by recency, as well as a list of all trades you have offered on. You can see at a glance which of your trades have offers and which are buyout-only.

Clicking a trade link on this list will open the trade's individual page, where you can view any offers left on the trade. You can also Bump the trade or Cancel the trade from its individual page.
